The Fiat Uno Cabrio Concept

Developed by the Fiat Brazil Styling Center, the Uno Convertible Concept is the first vehicle based on the two-door bodyshell of the new Uno – in turn based on the Panda – that will be soon available on the market.

With the project, Fiat designers have explored the possibilities offered by a modern, advanced platform.

With the removal of the roof, and therefore part of body rigidity, the prototype had to get reinforcements in various parts of its structure, in order maintain the required torsional stiffness and – consequently – the comfort and safety levels.

The engine is the same as the Punto T-Jet, a turbocharged 1.4 liter unit delivering 152 hp, The top speed is close to 200 km/h.

The exterior design is characterized by newly-designed bumpers that provide a more powerful appearance.
The front end features large air intakes and a pronounced spoiler.

At the same time it maintains the “irreverence” of the rounded squares featured in the New Uno.

The taillights and brake lights – originally positioned on the back of the head restraints – are illuminated by LEDs, complementing the look of the car.

To match the new sporty appearance, the car adopts 17-inch wheels with low-profile tires.
